7 Reasons Men Don’t Like Going to the Doctor

Men are really persistent regarding on their health, they can use any reasons just to avoid going to the doctors which is good lifestyle, in order to be healthy, men also need monthly check up. Here are the 7 reasons why men don't like going to the doctors.

1. I’m not a sissy. Men are taught from an early age that they are weak if they show emotion or express physical discomfort. Going to the doctor can cause both to happen.
2. Late bloomers. Men have fewer health issues than women do before the age of forty. Men usually go to the doctor only when something goes wrong. After forty, men will get the opportunity to know their doctor much better.
3. Don’t judge me. Men think that their situation is unique to them. Don’t worry, your doctor has been there and done that.
4. Satisfaction not guaranteed. Men find it easy to dismiss things they are not comfortable with by putting them down. Going to the doctor is a “waste of time,” “costs too much,” and “he doesn’t do anything.” While sometimes that’s true, finding a doctor you are comfortable with can help.
5. Women and children first. Most men think that doctors’ practices are geared toward women and children. Many men aren’t comfortable telling the female receptionist that they are having trouble with their “little guy.”
6. Work comes first. Many men have the attitude that work is their first priority and have a selfimage that encourages a denial of illness to continue to be able to provide.
7. Drop your shorts. Men often have trouble discussing emotions, sexual problems, and mental health issues like depression. Again, finding a doctor you are comfortable with is key.
